    1. Briar & Josie

Our youth performers Briar Summers & Josie Robinson from Huntsville opened for the Canadian Men’s Chorus May 6, 2017

Thanks to Briar Summers and Josie Robinson for performing last Saturday, May 6 at the Gravenhurst Opera House. It is good to know that we have such talent developing in Muskoka. It was hard to believe that it was their first time performing together.

    2. Bethany Williams

For the Duo Concertante concert Sunday October 22, 2017 our youth performer for the evening was Bethany Williams.

Bethany lives in Gravenhurst and is taking vocal training under the direction of Jillian McDougal. She also plays keyboard and trumpet and has performed for her school assemblies. Bethany has a real love of music and particularly enjoys singing and hopes to one day perform as a singer.

“Bethany Williams enthralled the audience with her vocal skills at the MCA concert on Sunday. Thank you Bethany; you have a bright future!

    3. Gabrielle White

We are so happy to welcome youth performer Gabrielle White to open our Nov. 25 concert with the @Metropolitan Silver Band.

Gabrielle is a grade 10 student at Huntsville High School. She has been playing the alto saxophone for the last four years. She is a member of three bands at school as well as the @Muskoka Concert Band, the @Huntsville Harmony Youth Band and @Muskoka Big Band. She is recipient of the Muskoka Concert Band Award and got to solo with the band in November 2017. She has big dreams as her goal is to pursuit a degree in music and hopefully be able to play someday with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Good luck Gabby!

“Gabrielle lives in Huntsville and is studying the saxophone under the direction of Kim Barlow. She has performed with the Huntsville Public School (HPS) Junior Band, the HPS Treble Makers, the Harmony Youth Band, her High School band and the Muskoka Concert Band. Gabrielle also proficiently plays the alto and tenor sax, clarinet and flute. Her objective is to become a music teacher.”
